Our mission began back in 1972 when six Central Wisconsin auto dealers merged their purchasing power to access volume-level pricing. By-laws were written, a charter was registered and a vision became reality. Wisco Cooperative Association’s exclusive auto/truck dealer co-op began. Within a few short years, Wisco grew from six to several hundred Members, and vendors took notice. Soon, manufacturers discovered the value and efficiency of utilizing Wisco as a distributor network. Joining is simple: Licensed dealers complete an application and purchase one $1000 share of Wisco Stock. There are no annual fees or minimums, shareholders collect 5% annually on their investment and 3-5% return based on their purchases. If a Member sells their business or simply decides to leave, the stock certificate is returned and the $1000 is refunded in full. Over the past five decades the cooperative has grown to over 500 Members. Having weathered every economic storm, Wisco has grossed over $800M in sales and returned millions of dollars in rebate funds.
